All bark, no bite! The English Bulldog is actually a very affectionate animals that are gentle with children and kind at heart. Although they look like a rough and tough dog English Bulldogs are actually very relaxed and tame dogs that are perfect for families.
English Bulldogs are indoor pets. Due to their need for controlled tempatures English Bulldogs require an environment that isn’t too hot and isn’t too cold. They remain relaitively inactive and while they require exercise, they remain easy to maintain with short walks and playtime.
English Bulldogs play well with children and enjoy spending time lounging, playing, and do not have an excessive amount of energy. 30-60 minutes of playtime will result in the need for a nap or rest.
English Bulldogs are quite in nature with low amounts of barking. It is rare to have an English Bulldog that barks a lot or makes a lot of noise. They do enjoy a good snore while sleeping, but don’t expect much bark from them.
English Bulldogs gain attention everywhere they go. The breed garners gawkers and pet lovers attention no matter where you go, people will ask to pet and adore you pet.
With the need for rest, nighttime with English Bulldogs is an enjoyable experience. They tend to sleep through the night and will often sleep longer than the owner of an English Bulldog. They enjoy their kennel as it’s their home and safe haven. Properly sized kennels filled with their favorite toys, will provide a nice place for them to escape for a nap or nightime full of sleep.
Finally, English Bulldogs have the worlds best snore. Owners from around the world will tell you that the snore of a bulldog is calming and cute.
